About the Global Brand

EnerConnex has partnered with a global leader in consumer products. The Global Brand wishes to remain anonymous, but it has a long history of brand loyalty, and its products are used and enjoyed all over the world. 

The Global Brand is headquartered in the United States and has plants in various locations worldwide.  They contacted EnerConnex to find more efficient and less expensive contracts for an energy-intensive plant that the Global Brand  operates in Ohio.

Looking for Expertise and Savings

Energy is a major expense for the Global Brand, especially for this plant, in particular. However, their leadership  was growing frustrated with rising and often unpredictable energy costs. The plant would always require significant investment to procure the large amounts of energy it needs, but the lack of predictability in energy costs made budgeting increasingly difficult.

The Senior Buyer also said she’s learned a lot more about the energy market throughout the partnership, particularly about the drivers behind energy rates, such as geopolitical developments, artificial intelligence, and even the weather and shoulder months.
